Hi everyone,
If you've been watching the WikiEducator edit history you will have seen
increased activity on the LiDA101 pages.
I've completed the drafts of the four learning pathways for LiDA101. You can
view the published version on WordPress here:
https://course.oeru.org/lida101/
Note: At the bottom of each page on the WordPress site there is a "Content"
link which will take you to the source materials in WikiEducator.
The outline page for LiDA101 in the wiki used to generate the published
version, summarises the pages which must still be finalised:

OERU COLLABORATION UPDATES
The P2PU Learning Circles initiative will include OERu's LiDA101 in their list
of offerings. This means that public libraries engaging with P2PU learning
circles around the world will offer face-to-face support for the course. See:
https://learningcircles.p2pu.org/en-gb/
In addition, P2PU have outstanding resources to support libraries and community
centres in establishing their own learning circles. This is a big step forward
in progressing the concept of "Academic Volunteers International" for OERu.
OERF has also been in conversation with MIT's Unhangout initiative. Recently
MIT have migrated the video-conferencing component, previously using Google
Hangouts, to an open source platform (https://jitsi.org/). Now that this
infrastructure is entirely open source, OERF can integrate this technology into
OERu courses. We will be collaborating with MIT's Media Lab to trial and host
two synchronous online events for LiDA101. (We will still develop instructions
for these events.)

INVITATION FOR FEEDBACK AND REVIEW ON LiDA101 LEARNING PATHWAYS
OERu welcomes improvements, feedback and review:
1) Feel free to correct typos and grammar directly on the wiki pages.
2) DON"T introduce substantive changes directly on the wiki pages. The wiki
protocol is to discuss and propose on the corresponding wiki talk pages or via
this email list before making changes. (If you post via the email list -
please include the source wiki url.)
This week I will commence with development of LIDA102.
Best wishes
Wayne
