Hi everyone,
It was great touching base with the OSSP course team yesterday. I think this
development will become a showcase for open design transcending international
boundaries.
As promised, here are the main project links for the development.
1) PLANNING PAGE
We use a central planning page in the wiki from which all planning documents
are linked. The outlines used for collaborative authoring will also be linked
from this planning page. Here is the planning page:
http://wikieducator.org/OSS_production
2) OERu AUTHORING AND PUBLISHING MODEL
The following page provides a summary of the OERu authoring and publishing
model with links to examples (There is also a link to the OERu course: Digital
skills for collaborative OER development which provides useful resources for
folk who are not familiar with our development model):
http://wikieducator.org/OERu/OERu_authoring_model
I have created a sub-page and boilerplate text for the course specification
document. You will find this link on the planning page (under the project
resources subheading).
It is important that we use this list for all communication - please avoid
using personal email. One of the requirements for open developments is the need
for a transparent and searchable record of the project communications.
3) CHAT CHANNEL
For immediate feedback during New Zealand daylight hours, please create an
account and post on:
https://chat.oeru.org
You will notice a dedicated #osspcourse channel:
https://chat.oeru.org/channel/osspcourse
Once you have created an account - please join this channel,
If there are any questions - please post these by reply to this email list or
the #osspcourse channel.
Cheers!
