LiDa102 - Front matter published: Learning in a Digital Age course team: Groups.OERu

Hi everyone,

Another productive weekend :-).

I've published the front matter for LiDA102 including the startup section,
syllabus and course announcements. See:

As per our open design model, editorial improvements are welcome directly in
the wiki. If you have any substantive suggestions, please post these on the
corresponding talk page in the wiki or via this email list.

As a reader I would prefer the Course Metrics on this page
http://course.oeru.org/lida102/startup/about/ to be in a table.

I like the idea of putting the dates all together at the top of
http://course.oeru.org/lida102/course-guide/syllabus/
Might go and do that on IENT courses now.

Shouldn't it say Above not below
Click on the “Course announcements” menu bar __below__ to reveal the
instructions for each session

Yep - the date summary at the top of the syllabus page helps with navigation.
Note that we have a wee bug with the ID parameter in {{IDevice}} for in-page
links not working properly in the WordPress theme :-(. I've used a work around
using mediawiki's internal page links pointing to sub-headings.

For example:

[[Foo#Subheading title|Subheading title]]

Here it is in action - clicking on the Session link in the table targets the
relevant session:
